Our Branch on the Ocean in the Tiny and Isolated Village of Villa Rica

Villa Rica Branch of The Language Immersion School

Study Spanish in a tiny oceanside village where English isn't spoken.

Improve your skills in a non-English-speaking environment.

Enjoy our comfortable housing, eat on the beach in the small restaurant huts run by our friends, and speak Spanish all day long.

The Villa Rica branch is for intermediate and advanced students.

Our Villa Rica branch is small and will be kept small. To maximize your immersion, we cap the campus at four students (or a few larger for a family group).

In addition to enjoying the ocean, visit the quebradas (deep breaks with vertical rock wall opened into the volcanic hillside), Quiahuiztlan and Cempoala archaeological ruins, surrounding villages, and near-by lagoons with mangrove passages and alligators. Take nature tours and go birding in the many environments close to the shore.

Your weekend travel, if you choose to travel, can be to Xalapa, the Port of Veracruz, the major archaeological site at El Tajin, or even the great pyramids at Teotihuacan.

It's fine to combine a week at our Villa Rica branch with a stay at our main facility in the Port of Veracruz.
